
Several hundred people gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol for "Discover the U" day on March 30, 2012.
The IHRC was among nine groups selected to present a display in the rotunda highlighting
research, education and outreach activities across the University. Featured groups:
Graduate students Andy Wilhide and Kelly Condit-Shrestha, undergraduates Shelby Johnson and Keit Osadchuk and recent graduate Mustafa Jumale met with Minnesota legislators and other interested persons to share the IHRC's research initiatives in the Digital Humanities. Digitizing Immigrant Letters , Minnesota 2.0 and Sheeko were featured in the IHRC's display.
