Abstract: John Gera was a Twin Cities resident of Carpatho-Rusin descent. He was a member of the Rusin Association of Minnesota and active in the local Greek Catholic/Byzantine Catholic community. The collection contains John Gera’s personal notes and scrapbooks pertaining to the Carpatho-Rusin language, Rusin Association of Minnesota activities, and Carpatho-Rusin history. The collection also contains material pertaining to Byzantine Catholics in the United States, including 7 VHS tapes of religious services and Nativity plays.
