Kostiuk (ca. 1948-1982) consist of personal and general corresondence, literary works, flyers, newspaper clippings and other materials pertaining to the Ukrainian Literary Arts Club of Minnesota, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, Minnesota Branch, the Shvechenko Jubilee Committee, Ukrainian Gold Cross, Ukrainian Peasant Organization, Ukrainian Chorus Dnipro, and Ukrainian Saturday School of St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Minneapolis, Minnesota).|

An educator, author, and chemical engineer, Oleksandra F. Kostiuk (1899-1985) was born and educated in Ukraine. She taught in a displaced persons camp in Germany and came to the United States following World War II. She settled in Minneapolis, Minn., where she was active professionally and in many Ukrainian American organizations, including the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She was editor and co-editor of the musical quarterly Visti (The Herald) which later became Muzychni Visti.
