Correspondents include representatives of the National Slovak Society of the United States, and Slovaks from Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, and other states. Topics include the Slovak American press, businesses, and steamship companies and railroads. Also included is a listing of the institute's holdings pertaining to Slovak Americans.
