A doctor of chiropractic and naturopathy, Dr. Niemi (1888-1972) was one of the first licensed Finnish-speaking chiropractors in the United States. At various times during his life, Dr. Niemi operated clinics in Ohio and Florida. A lifelong member of the American Naturopathic Association and the International Chiropractic Association, he also belonged to numerous professional organizations as well as the Freemasons and Modern Woodmen of America.
