Pal V. Nyiregyhazy (1888-1973) was a Hungarian Canadian who had been a mayor in Hungary before immigrating to Canada. He wrote a popular weekly column for the newspaper Kanadai Magyarsag and was prominent in the Hungarian community in Toronto.
