The Polish Roman Catholic Union, founded in 1873, is a fraternal, cultural, recreational, and sports organization. It sponsors educational and religious tours to Canada and Europe, gives financial assistance to students, aids elderly and disabled members, and sponsors sports activities. The Union has about 129,000 members with branches in 25 states. It is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and publishes Narod Polski.
